Approval Process for Verifying Organizations

Step 1

To get started, organizations seeking the TPV approval must complete the online application that includes statements of compliance and supporting documentation.

Step 2

HPDC staff will review and audit the application. This may include discussion with the applicant and requests/review of any additional documentation determined to be relevant.

Step 3

This review will include a check of the status of individuals in completing the TPV program training. All individuals who will be conducting verifications must complete the training.

Step 4

The HPDC Technical Committee will provide the final approval.

Ongoing process for approved verifiers

Step 1

HPDC reviews the qualifications of verifier organizations on an ongoing basis.

Step 2

The first three HPDs verified by the approved TPV organization will be reviewed by HPDC for HPD Open Standard compliance.

Step 3

HPDC will also review 5%–10% of verified HPDs annually.

Step 4

HPDC will conduct annual audits to ensure the organization remains in compliance with program requirements.
