To complete an HPD data request using the Supplier HPD Builder Extension tool, you need to first gather the data that the manufacturers need.
You need to provide information about their product, about the materials that make up their product, and about the substances that are present in your product as delivered to the manufacturer.
Supplier’s products are considered Parts (components) of the manufacturer’s product. Data requests sent by manufacturers are called “Part Requests”. Once suppliers complete and submit Part Requests in the Supplier HPD tool, manufacturers can import these Parts into their Builder accounts to use them as materials in their products.
Gathering Supplier’s Part and Material Data:
Once all data has been gathered, you may then complete your request in the Supplier HPD tool.
