Course Description
Team reviews hazards, exposure, and risks associated with building products as well as product transparency issues. Finally, we discuss resources that design professionals can use when specifying products using material ingredient information.
Learning Objectives:
- Explain why the material ingredients of building products are important to the health and well-being of people and the environment.
- Understand the LEED v4.1 Material Ingredients credit structure and its key concepts.
- Achieve the credit efficiently and reliably using a job aid presented in the course.
- Identify additional resources to get support as needed in selecting and specifying products using material ingredient information.
